Visit to the Dentist

All three of the kids went to the dentist for the first time yesterday and they actually loved it, all of them except for Faith. I don't think she enjoyed it very much but she didn't complain or anything, the assistant actually said that Faith was the best patient she's had all week. They just put fluoride on Lexi's teeth, Logan got a general x-ray and cleaning and he had a brown spot on each of his "vampire teeth" that the dentist cleaned out and covered in fluoride and they shouldn't become a problem, but Faith has a couple cavities that will need to be filled and her lower teeth are crowded from her thumb sucking and she'll need teeth pulled and/or braces when she's older. So tomorrow Faith has to go back to get her cavities filled and they're going to try to do it without anesthesia. If for some reason they can't do it that way we'll have to go see a specialist and they'll have to put her out. Hopefully everything goes well tomorrow though and there are no complications or issues. I'll let you all know how it goes.

4th of July

We had a lot of fun for the 4th. We started out the day with 9:00 church with Jonathan's parents, his brother Tanner, and his sister Angela and her family. Our kids loved going to church with their cousins. We came home for a few hours then packed up a BBQ, hot dogs, hamburgers, lots of drinks, and other snacks then headed to lake Coeur d'Alene in Idaho. We had a BBQ with Jon's parents, his brothers Tanner & Bradley, Bradley's family, Jon's sister Emily, her boyfriend Jason, and both their kids, Jon's older sister Angela and her family, our kids, and we brought along our dog Snow. We found a spot right next to the lake and of course the kids had a blast getting wet. They launch the fireworks off a boat in the middle of the lake so we had a great view of those too since we got there really early and had a BBQ first. Our kids loved watching them even though it was pretty chilly. Lexi officially won the funest kid to be around during fireworks award. Every time one went off she would point at it and say "whoa!" or she would reach out her hand like she was trying to grab them then say "I got it!". She was adorable.
