Woot! We got the house! For those of you who don't know, Jon and I have been looking into renting a house in Dupont, which is like 5 mins away from Ft. Lewis. We just heard today from the owners and we got it! I am soo excited. The current renters move out the 30th of this month and then the owners want to pain, clean the carpets, fix & replace a few things, ect... and then we get to move in the first or second week of June. I'll take some pictures of the house a.s.a.p. and post them. Don't know if we're going to go there again before we move in or not. I was very excited to hear the good news that I just had to tell you all!

The weather was wonderful last Tuesday & Wednesday that I decided to take out the sunscreen and take the kids to the Wards Lake Park that is a few block up the street from our townhome complex. Faith & Logan both loved it. It was great watching the kids have fun and have room to run around like crazy. Logan loved the swings and Faith would not stop going down the kids slide, that is until she found the big kid slide and a way to climb up it! I brought some bread to feed the geese that are usually here but there were only 2 and they didn't want their picture taken and they didn't want to come close enough for us to feed them. I'll have to get pictures of the dozens of geese that are usually there every summer before we move. Anyway, here's some really cute pictures of the kids having fun at the park!

Jon's birtday was last Wednesday (May 17th)! My car isn't registered and I don't know how to drive Jon's car (it's a stick) so I printed out pictures of baloons and taped them all over the walls and his computer (pictures below). I made Jon brownies and his good friend Snow from basic training came over with his girlfriend and we bbq'd hamburgers and hotdogs. I bought Jon a present online but it never came :( but at least we're getting our money back. Jon got a great birthday present though, we finally got his bonus and he bought himself a PSP! Happy Birthday Jon! I love you! Come What May!

A week ago today was our 3 year annerversary! Jon didn't get home until after midnight so we celebrated on Saturday. I woke up at 6:30 am and made eggs, bacon, and french toast (Jon's favorite). Then we hung around until 11:30 then took the kids to Ayala and Angel's apartment for the afternoon, called Angela to wish her happy birthday, and then took off to the movies. Jon and I saw Misson Impossible 3, and then we went out to eat at Ruby Tuesday's. After a great Lunch/Dinner we went and saw the movie Stick It. It was actually a lot better than I thought it would have been. We then picked up the kids, Faith was playing happily with their cat and Logan was dead asleep, and then we all went home. We put the kids down for bed the pulled out the sofa bed, watched some movies on the movie channell Stars and ate some ice cream. It was wonderful to finally be able to go out without any screaming kids, and it was great to finally get some alone time with Jon. What a wonderful husband I have to plan it all himself and even find great babysitters! I love you Jon! Come What May!
